If it isn’t broken, don’t fix it. And that’s exactly what Nintendo did with this installment of Mario Kart 64. They took the winning formula from Super Mario Kart and turbo charged it. Mario Kart 64 featured more items and more tracks. Perhaps, the most infamous item is the blue turtle shell. This shell has ended many friendships as it attacks the leader of the race.
